Our Portable Panel Ramps: They are a standard 735mm in width which is wide enough for the largest of wheelchair or scooter. They are very strong (load capacity of at least 275Kg), they can be used in all weathers (because of our weather proof anti-slip surface), and are all very portable (lightweight and have an easy carry handle). We offer 5 standard length options: - 2ft 6’, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft and 6ft, but can construct them to any chosen size. The height of the step determines the length of ramp most suitable, the higher the step the longer the ramp (Click our "Ramp Calculator" on the EAUK Information Menu for a guide to gradient ratios - If In Any Doubt Please Contact Us). A handrail may be fixed to one or both sides of this 4ft, 5ft and 6ft ramp option. This of course will make it a lot less portable, but does provide the user with an increased level of security & stability. Our Portable Folding Ramps: They are very similar to the Wide Panel Ramp (though 5mm narrower) but can be folded in half when not in use. The width of the ramp reduces from 730mm to 365mm when folded (remain the same length) and are therefore easier to store on a mobility scooter, in the car, at home, in the office or anywhere that needs a ramp. Again we offer 5 standard length options: - 2ft 6’, 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, again they can be constructed to an alternative size. The ramps sits astride the threshold with a short ramp on either side, one to take you up and over, and one to take you down (and Vice-Versa) - Perfect For Wheelchairs, Rollators & Scooters. We offer a standard version (fits all new standard PVC door installations) & a custom version to meet individual threshold measurement requirements.
